Path Forward is delighted to welcome Amazon to our Fall 2019 return to work program. The second-largest employer in the US is opening up opportunities for finance professionals on career breaks to fill multiple returnship positions in the Operations Finance division at their Seattle headquarters.
As part of the program Amazon is looking for Financial Analysts and Senior Financial Analysts for 16-week returnships that will start in late summer. These roles are open to professionals with five or more years of experience, who have taken two or more years off their careers for caregiving. You can view the available roles at Amazon and apply here.
“At Amazon, we are continually looking for ways to further strengthen our culture of inclusion and diversify our workforce. That means identifying and hiring the best people from all backgrounds. Our return to work program with Path Forward is another way we are welcoming diverse perspectives and experiences into our company,” says Nihal de Souza, Finance Director within Amazon’s Operations Finance division.
“We’re very excited to work with Amazon to support their launch of a returnship program,” says Path Forward Executive Director Tami Forman. “As a leading national employer, Amazon is a driver of economic opportunity. When the country’s largest companies invest in workforce development programs like returnships, it sets an example for other companies. We all benefit when talented professionals are given the chance to participate and contribute more meaningfully to our economy. Amazon is helping to make that possible.”
In partnering with Path Forward, Amazon will be joining the ranks of companies across the country who offer returnships for caregivers on career breaks. In addition to Seattle, returnship opportunities are now open – with more to be announced soon – in the Bay Area and Southern California, Austin, the New York metro area, Bentonville, Northern Virginia and more.
