New Bay Area Hiring Partners Join Path Forward’s Return to Work Program

Recruiting Period Kicks off with Free Career Restart Seminar on July 17th

We’re excited to announce the launch of our Fall 2019 return to work program in the Bay Area, with both new and returning partner companies. Path Forward is delighted to welcome new partners Blend, HPE, PagerDuty, Plastiq, Uber for Business, VMware, and Zynga, and to help our returning program champions Cloudflare, OSIsoft, Quizlet, Sage Intacct, and Verizon Media continue to build on the success they’ve seen with their returnship programs to date.

Our partners will be offering returnship opportunities across a variety of positions, including sales, finance, marketing, human resources, product support, software engineering, product management, and more. These returnships provide opportunities for professionals with at least 5 years of prior experience to transition back into the workforce after a break of 2 or more years for caregiving purposes. Some roles are open for application now, with more to be posted in the coming weeks. The returnship positions will begin in September 2019.

To introduce potential participants to the program, Path Forward will be holding a free Career Restart Seminar in San Francisco on July 17th from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. Attendees will have a chance to learn about returnships from the Path Forward team, hear from hiring partners about the opportunities they have available, and network with recruiters, hiring managers, and other returning caregivers. If you’re interested in attending, please click here to register, and be sure to sign up for our newsletter to be alerted when new roles open for application.

“We’re excited to work with an ever-growing number of companies who are seeing the value of returnships as a way to find and hire highly qualified talent,” said Tami Forman, Executive Director of Path Forward. “We launched our programs just three short years ago, with a handful of partners and returnship opportunities. As of today, we’ve worked with more than 50 companies to bring more than 400 returners back into the workforce. We welcome our newest partners into this growing community of companies who are committed to thinking more inclusively about talent.”

Not in the Bay Area? As previously announced, additional returnship opportunities are available via Path Forward partners Amazon, IHS Markit, Walmart Labs, and others. These positions are located in seven cities – including New York, Northern Virginia, Austin, Seattle, Philadelphia, Bentonville, and San Diego, rounding out our most expansive returnship program yet.
